How Safe is Your Neighborhood?

Awareness is the first step in protecting your home, family or business. That’s why we want to tell you about free resources available to check crime in your neighborhood. These two sites established by our local law enforcement agencies will help keep citizens informed about crime in our community.

City of Baton Rouge

To check crime incidents in Baton Rouge, use the Open Data BR Criminal Incidents site. From this page, you can enter your street name (in the search field under the main menu) to find out about attempted and committed crimes.

East Baton Rouge Parish

To check calls for assistance in East Baton Rouge Parish, use the Crime Statistics site. Select the CAD button in the green box and then click the “I understand” button on the next page. This will take you to a map of the parish. You can enter your street name (in the upper right corner) to bring up your sector’s map. You’ll see incidents broken down into clickable categories and the exact address of the incident.
