Area Power Outage May Affect Security

Is your security system beeping and/or displaying “BAT” or “Low Battery” after a power outage? Here’s what you can do:

– Disconnect the backup battery from the panel.

– Once power is restored, the backup battery will need time to recharge (usually 12-24 hrs.).

– If the low battery notification still appears on your keypad, you may need a new backup battery (available for purchase at our office).
